…for your beautiful and warm-hearted birthday wishes!

I didn’t want to make a big deal on my birthday this year, but I realized that actually is so amazing to make this a big deal. It’s one of those year’s moments when your family and your friends are so close to you; and every year you add to your life, is and extra reason to be happy.

I started to celebrate my birthday during the weekend, together with some my family’s members. We went to a Balkan restaurant and we had fun. I hope they enjoyed the environment and the food (very familiar with our traditional food).  And I want to thank them for the beautiful presents which are more then useful, and for the lovely flowers.

My next celebration was at work, exactly in my birthday. I enjoyed a delicious Japanese lunch together with my co-workers and a very tasty cake, Japanese kitchen being one of my favourites.

I spent the rest of the day just with my husband who waited home for me with some impressive surprises. Of course, I prefer to keep them private

I have to mention now about the next celebration, in the next day. It was just the girls’ day out! My “just recently became Canadian” BFF invited me at shopping to pick up my present (I’d also like to keep it private), and of course, I treated her with a nice dinner: the orange beef stir fry, our favourite girls’ day out meal. I don’t mention the restaurant’s name. We had a great time and a lot of fun (like usually).

I want to thank again everybody for all the delightful best wishes messages. I got so many (on my e-mail address, IM, facebook, by phone or in person), and each one was so different in so many ways. I really feel so lucky to have so many friends in my life. Thank you all!!!

PS: I know today is April  fools day, but everything I wrote in my post is true! No jokes okay?
