Yes, I do have a… pretty new look, but don’t imagine I changed myself too much. I just started to wear… eyeglasses. And I also changed my hair color, but this happened about 2 weeks ago, and it’s not a big difference.

I used to wear eyeglasses back in Romania, years ago, but I stopped to wear them after I came in Canada. Now, I finally decided to take an eye exam because it was a must: I’m not allowed to drive Yes, you heard well, I failed my eye exam for my driver licence.

So I had the appointment with my doctor this week and she made a lot of tests at my eyes… it took about 45-50 minutes. I don’t have any other problems or disease at my eyes, thanks God; it’s just that I need to wear eyeglasses while driving. The hardest part was to pick up the frames… especially when all the store’s walls were full of different brands of frames, I had so many choices, and because I’m very picky when I have to buy expensive stuff for myself.  The lady there helped me so much with this; they have a great customer service. When she saw me so undecided, she told me she has so many customers who actually don’t need eyeglasses, but they want to be trendy; eyeglasses are very cool accessories now, and there are people who just order more frames with plain lenses to wear them with different dressing styles.

So after she presented me and after I tried “X” numbers of frames, we finally decided to pickup “the one” for me. And I really like it: it’s a dark brown plastic frame (the most fashionable style now in the field), with some light-brown fancy design, and it matches very nice with my face, my hair color and my usual makeup. The fame looks pretty nice even for an evening makeup, so I think I made the good choice.

 The doctor said I definitely need to wear my eyeglasses while I drive, but I started to wear them all the time for the moment (oh, I can see so many details now) to became used with them and, why not, to be trendy. It’s not just my hubby who’s cool; we are cool together now
